As 2025 comes to a close, the International Accrediting Commission for Digital Education (IACDE) is celebrating real momentum across our global network.
More than 246 institutions, academies, universities, training centers, and educational providers have started the journey toward membership, candidacy, or accreditation—representing institutions across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, South America, and North America.
This month, we highlight the work of the Global Advisory Council, welcome Owenstef Academy (Nigeria) as a sponsored Member Institution, and share how AI tools are reshaping digital quality assurance, internal review, and institutional readiness.

What Happens After You Apply?
Institutions applying for recognition or accreditation with IACDE move through a clear, supportive pathway:
1. Apply & Enter Candidacy
Once your application and institutional profile are approved, you receive Candidate Status along with guidance from the IACDE Accreditation Team.
2. Submit Self-Study & Virtual Peer Review
Candidates complete a self-study aligned with IACDE’s Digital Excellence & Accountability Framework, followed by a virtual peer review.
3. Achieve Full Accreditation
Upon Commission approval, institutions earn full accreditation and maintain compliance through annual reporting and a five-year renewal cycle.
Important:
Institutions applying by December 12, 2025 will be reviewed under the current 2025 fee schedule.
Applications submitted after this date will fall under the new 2026 pricing.
